Psoriasis
Psoriases is a genetic skin condition people suffer from for their entire life, with occassional improvements and deteriorations. This phenomenon strikes the entire population, about 2% in varying levels of intensity.
Dermatology can offer many treatments to allow Psoriasis patients to continue conducting a normal lifestyle, however, in order to do so, long term treatments and/or continuous follow ups are required for preventative reasons.
Atopic dermatitis
Atopic dermatitis is a disease that harms mostly children and babies, but in many cases may drag on to puberty. This appears as a substantial itching, skin dryness and rashes mostly in transition seasons, during which the air is dry.
The treatment of those phenomenons may be long and require long term attention, as well as preventative treatments, to reduce the frequency of lesions appearance and their severity. At times, certain behavior rules are required in order to improve the life quality.
Couperose
Couperose is a skin phenomenon that appears as facial redness, with protrusion of delicate blood vessels. This phenomenon worsens with age and may have aesthetic implications.
This can be treated using a combination of laser treatment and local treatment.
Vitiligo
Vitiligo is an autoimmune phenomenon, in which light spots appears in several typical areas of the body. In some cases, this phenomenon may extend to other areas and cover vast areas of skin. There are several treatment options for this phenomenon and early diagnosis and effective treatments may improve existing conditions and prevent expansion.
Seborrhea
Seborrhea is a common phenomenon in both men and women. It involves hyper activity of the mammal glands, in specific areas where the mammal gland concentration is especially high. There are several treatments available nowadays to significantly relieve this phenomenon.
Rosacea
Rosacea is a known skin phenomenon that combined several disturbances in a number of skin layers. This phenomenon is quite a challenge to treat, and there are several local, systemic and laser treatments that may significantly relieve its symptoms.
Dyshidrotic eczema
This skin phenomenon is usually limited to the palms’ skin and often the foot soles’ skin, and it is expressed in dry, cracked and itching skin, occasionally with boils along the fingers.
This phenomenon appears on the skin of various professional due to recurring contact with chemicals such as fuels, oils, glues, etc. or those with constant exposure to water and soap.
Skin and nail fungus
One of the most common and medically and aesthetically bothersome phenomenons. This is usually caused by infection in public places or lacking hygiene (unventilated feet, shoes made of cheap materials). This phenomenon is contagious and may affect the same patient in different body areas (feet, crotches) or contaminate household members (nail fungus). It is possible to handle these phenomena both in local treatments and in focused medicinal treatments.
