Treating Skin Diseases

Skin diseases are a challenge to diagnose and treat. The skin is our body’s largest organ and it is possible to find both skin diseases and diseases that show on the skin but have implications on other organs in our body.

Proper diagnosis and treatment appropriate both for the disease and patient, are the essence of dermatology.

Our clinic treats a wide array of skin diseases and conditions, such as:

Psoriases is a genetic skin condition people suffer from for their entire life, with occassional improvements and deteriorations. This phenomenon strikes the entire population, about 2% in varying levels of intensity.
Dermatology can offer many treatments to allow Psoriasis patients to continue conducting a normal lifestyle, however, in order to do so, long term treatments and/or continuous follow ups are required for preventative reasons.

Atopic dermatitis
Atopic dermatitis is a disease that harms mostly children and babies, but in many cases may drag on to puberty. This appears as a substantial itching, skin dryness and rashes mostly in transition seasons, during which the air is dry.
The treatment of those phenomenons may be long and require long term attention, as well as preventative treatments, to reduce the frequency of lesions appearance and their severity. At times, certain behavior rules are required in order to improve the life quality.

This can be treated using a combination of laser treatment and local treatment.

This phenomenon appears on the skin of various professional due to recurring contact with chemicals such as fuels, oils, glues, etc. or those with constant exposure to water and soap.

Skin and nail fungus
One of the most common and medically and aesthetically bothersome phenomenons. This is usually caused by infection in public places or lacking hygiene (unventilated feet, shoes made of cheap materials). This phenomenon is contagious and may affect the same patient in different body areas (feet, crotches) or contaminate household members (nail fungus). It is possible to handle these phenomena both in local treatments and in focused medicinal treatments.
